KISD Community Flyers: Register ONLINE www.thefarmleague.comQuestions? 713-501-9995 rob@thefarmleague.comSUMMER BASEBALL SUMMER BASEBALL LEAGUE REGISTER: by Monday, April 27th STARTS: Week of May 26th AGES: 4U - 14U (age as of May 1, 2026) GAMES are weekday nights & Sunday evenings (no Saturdays once school is out) 4U-5U Soft Toss: This a great transition from T-ball to baseball. It is designed for Pre-K and K to teach the fundamentals of hitting and fielding. 6U Coach Pitch: Fundamentals of baseball are the focus with this age group, while enjoying the spirit of the game. Rules are the same as older ages, except the players get 5 pitches and can swing at all 5. 7U & 8U Coach Pitch: Standard coach pitch rules. 9U Blended Kid Pitch: No walks or steals. Kids learn to pitch, hit a pitched ball, and play with 3 outfielders. Our kids swing the bats! This program lets them develop a foundation for REAL BASEBALL and work on the skills of the game. “No walk turning into a triple style here!” 10U, 11U, 12U & 14U Kid Pitch: Standard kid pitch rules. (note the “U” stands for “UNDER” so "8U" is eight years old and UNDER) SUMMER BASEBALL ACADEMY REGISTER: by Monday, May 25th STARTS: June 1st-4th 9-11am AGES: 5U-12U (age as of May 1, 2026) A FOUR DAY ACADEMY all in 1 week! Area high school coaches & baseball pros will run drills & scrimmages. In this Academy coaches will work on drills to help compliment what they are doing in their team practices. Not only will they break down the HOW to do a specific skill, but the WHY! Many young players look for short cuts - once they understand the WHY, it makes the game easier. We want to eliminate the bad habits before they start. Players will be split into groups based on age and ability. Location: The Farm League Park (on Stuebner Airline). There is no other sport that uses every muscle like basketball. We have grade specific divisions based on the CURRENT 2025-26 school year, so register your player for the grade they are in today. This league is for players who play multiple sports that would also like to play basketball. Practice starts May 4th. Games begin May 26th, with a total of 8 games and a BOYS Playoff Tournament and GIRLS MatchUp Weekend. PRACTICES: In May, practices will be during the week - Monday thru Thursday evenings and some Saturdays & Sunday afternoons. In June & July, practices are Saturdays & Sundays. Starting May 27th, GAMES will be during the week - Sunday evening thru Friday evening. Games & practices will be held at Klein ISD gyms, Tomball ISD gyms & other local gyms, including TFL THE BARN and Champion Forest Baptist Church. GIRLS SUMMER BASKETBALL BOOT CAMP for boys & girls June 8, 9, 10, 11. 9am-12pm @ the barn - REGISTER: by June 1st, Monday - K-8th grade based on CURRENT 2025-26 school year TFL Basketball Boot Camp is based on skills & drills, using the NBA Junior Model. Come out and have FUN learning how to dribble, pass & shoot!

New Dance school, focusing on ballet training classes start October 13 ages 2 -adult

Klein ISD earned an A rating in the College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) component of the Texas Education Agency’s 2025 A–F Accountability Ratings and maintained a B overall, rising from an 80 in 2023 to an 86 in 2025.

Since the TEA raised performance standards in 2023, the district has seen a 30% increase in A-rated schools, a 13% increase in B-rated schools, and a 55% decrease in C-rated schools, with no schools rated D or F. All five high schools and all ten intermediate schools earned an A or B, and students across Klein ISD earned 127 academic distinctions, a 37% increase since 2023.
